1. Confirm delivery of your outdoor structure or hire Helping Hands Household Solutions to pickup and deliver. Do you have all the boxes (i.e. box #1 of 4, box #2 of 4, box #3 of 4, & box # 4 of 4)?
2. Clear access to the area where you want the structure installed.
3. Ensure you have level ground/ level concrete slab.
4. Send Helping Hands Household Solutions:
the name brand, model and size of your structure,
advise if we are: assembling only, or anchoring to your existing concrete slab, or if we are digging/pouring and installing concrete footers.
5. Measure Your Space. Will the fully-assembled structure fit into the space provided?
6. Check with your HOA if applicable to gain approval for the installation.
7. Consider the position your structure based on the sun’s path — morning or afternoon sun can impact comfort and usability.

Do you build gazebos on grass, pavers, or concrete? Yes. Our gazebo builders install on all three. On grass or dirt we can set the structure free-standing or dig and pour concrete footers; on an existing slab we drill and anchor the posts.
How long does a gazebo or pergola take? Most kit gazebos and pergolas take 6–8 hours with a 2–3 person crew, finished in one visit. If we’re digging and pouring concrete footers, plan on a 2-day job so the concrete can cure before the structure goes up. We confirm the exact plan when we quote.
Do I need a permit? Permit rules vary by city and HOA. Many small backyard kits don’t need one, but check with your city or HOA before you buy. We’re happy to provide our Certificate of Insurance if they ask.
Can you anchor into my existing concrete slab? Yes — drill-and-anchor for 4 or 6 posts is a flat add-on, priced right in the calculator above.
