No — we don’t have an hourly rate. Every job gets one flat price, set before we start.

Most handyman jobs sound quick: hang the curtains, put up the Ring doorbell, hang the art. With hourly pricing, “real quick” turns into “real pricey.”

Hourly math is optimistic math. Nobody has ever finished a job and said “that took less time than they thought.” And hourly is rarely just hourly — there’s usually a two-hour minimum, a fuel add-on, another fee if it turns out to need two people. A flat rate means one number. All of it. After 25 years we don’t estimate how long this takes. We know.

No — we don’t install ceiling fans or light fixtures of any kind, including chandeliers and hardwired sconces, and we don’t add new outlets or wiring. Plug-in, battery-operated and stick-up sconces are no problem, which is what most renters and offices use to add light without an electrician. Everything else that mounts is our wheelhouse: shelves, blinds, art, mirrors, cameras, smart locks, doorbells and smoke detectors.

Yes — TV mounting is one of our most-booked services, starting at $105. We mount flat screens on drywall and wood studs, install tilt, swivel and full-motion mounts, conceal and hide cords, and add soundbars and floating shelves. Living rooms, bedrooms, offices, garages, patios and outdoor TVs. We don’t do recessed or in-wall installs, or mount on tile or marble. When we have availability we’re happy to help with same-day, next-day or short-notice requests. The easiest way to check is our real-time booking calendar — it shows exactly what’s open. Spots fill quickly, so book as early as you can.

Please inspect your shipment before your appointment — check that you have all the boxes (Box 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3), that none are damaged in shipping, and that nothing inside is bent or broken. If we can’t finish because of damaged or missing parts, we’ll complete everything we can and come back within 30 days at no extra charge once your replacements arrive.

No — you don’t need to be home. We work with remote entry all the time: plenty of clients unlock the door from their phone, or leave a gate code, garage code, lockbox or smart lock code. A neighbor or property manager letting us in works too. Just tell us how you’d like us to get in when you book, along with any notes on where things should go. You’ll get a reminder text the day before and an on-the-way ETA text on the day.

No minimum — you pay the flat rate for the tasks you book, even if that’s a single curtain rod. Watching your budget? Usually you don’t need that. Send a photo of what needs fixing or installing, plus a wider shot of the wall or room, and we can confirm your flat rate — often the same day.
