Our coverage is designed to protect you if accidental damage or injury occurs during assembly, installation, or moving help. And yes — every helper working under the Helping Hands name is background-checked and vetted before joining the team. We verify identity and work history and run a criminal background check, so you can feel confident about who is in your home.

We maintain commercial general liability coverage for property damage and bodily injury that could occur while we are on-site at your home, apartment, or commercial space. Our general liability limits are $1,000,000 per occurrence, with a $1,000,000 general aggregate and $1,000,000 products/completed operations aggregate. The policy also includes $50,000 for damage to rented premises and $5,000 in medical expense coverage per person. These limits are designed to protect your space — walls, floors, elevators, and common areas — while we work, as well as visitors who may be present during your appointment. If your building requires specific minimum limits or an updated certificate of insurance (COI), text or email us with the requirements prior to booking for review. Thanks!

Yes! Standard proof of insurance is available upon request. If your building, HOA, or property manager requires a custom COI naming them as "Additional Insured," text or email us their exact legal name, address, and requirements at least 72 hours before your appointment so our insurance issuer can process the certificate in time. Booking same-day or next-day? Standard proof is instant — custom COIs just need that 72-hour head start.

Our crews come prepared to protect your space. We use floor protection, door-jamb guards, and furniture pads to prevent scuffs and scrapes when navigating tight spaces. We plan the route first — through elevators, stairwells, and hallways — and assign enough helpers so nobody has to rush a heavy item.

For moved or transported furniture and personal belongings, items are handled with professional care using heavy-duty blankets, straps, and dollies under standard valuation protection. If you have high-value, antique, or unique items, please notify us before booking so we can confirm proper handling. Our $1,000,000 Commercial General Liability policy protects your home, property, walls, and common areas while our team is working on-site

Liability Disclaimer: Helping Hands Household Solutions installs basketball goals on existing concrete footings. However, if the concrete footing or pier was NOT installed by HHHS, we are not liable for any issues arising from improper footing depth, insufficient or missing rebar reinforcement, structural failure, or subsequent damage to the goal, property, or persons.

Customer acknowledges that HHHS assumes no responsibility for the structural integrity of pre-existing concrete work, including rebar placement and footing dimensions. HHHS reserves the right to refuse installation if the existing footing is deemed insufficient.

Rather be safe than sorry? We can handle the full service basketball goal installation — including pouring the concrete footing with proper rebar reinforcement ourselves. With 25+ years of experience and fully insured, we make sure your goal is built right from the ground up. Contact us for a full installation quote that includes the concrete base.

A few things are outside our lane: new electrical outlets or wiring, plumbing repairs beyond standard washer/fridge water-line connections, recessed/in-wall fireplace installs, and mounting on tile or marble. We do not move pool tables ,hot tubs, concert grand pianos, or safes exceeding 850 lbs.

Life happens — we get it! Here's how it works: when you book, we reserve your date, crew, and equipment just for you and turn away other jobs for that slot, so deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

📅Need a different day? Cancel the original appointment, then rebook with a new deposit for the time that works. Booking early provides you with more choices, so grab your new spot as soon as you are ready!
