Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers

Yes. Helping Hands Household Solutions LLC is a legally registered Arizona business, fully insured with $1,000,000 in Commercial General Liability coverage — protection on every job for your complete peace of mind. Our coverage is designed to protect you if accidental damage or injury occurs during assembly, installation, or moving help. And yes — every helper working under the Helping Hands name is background-checked and vetted before joining the team. We verify identity and work history and run a criminal background check, so you can feel confident about who is in your home.

We maintain commercial general liability coverage for property damage and bodily injury that could occur while we are on-site at your home, apartment, or commercial space. Our general liability limits are $1,000,000 per occurrence, with a $1,000,000 general aggregate and $1,000,000 products/completed operations aggregate. The policy also includes $50,000 for damage to rented premises and $5,000 in medical expense coverage per person. These limits are designed to protect your space — walls, floors, elevators, and common areas — while we work, as well as visitors who may be present during your appointment. If your building requires specific minimum limits or an updated certificate of insurance (COI), text or email us with the requirements prior to booking for review. Thanks!

Yes! Standard proof of insurance is available upon request. If your building, HOA, or property manager requires a custom COI naming them as "Additional Insured," text or email us their exact legal name, address, and requirements at least 72 hours before your appointment so our insurance issuer can process the certificate in time. Booking same-day or next-day? Standard proof is instant — custom COIs just need that 72-hour head start.

Our crews come prepared to protect your space. We use floor protection, door-jamb guards, and furniture pads to prevent scuffs and scrapes when navigating tight spaces. We plan the route first — through elevators, stairwells, and hallways — and assign enough helpers so nobody has to rush a heavy item.

For moved or transported furniture and personal belongings, items are handled with professional care using heavy-duty blankets, straps, and dollies under standard valuation protection. If you have high-value, antique, or unique items, please notify us before booking so we can confirm proper handling. Our $1,000,000 Commercial General Liability policy protects your home, property, walls, and common areas while our team is working on-site

Liability Disclaimer: Helping Hands Household Solutions installs basketball goals on existing concrete footings. However, if the concrete footing or pier was NOT installed by HHHS, we are not liable for any issues arising from improper footing depth, insufficient or missing rebar reinforcement, structural failure, or subsequent damage to the goal, property, or persons.

Customer acknowledges that HHHS assumes no responsibility for the structural integrity of pre-existing concrete work, including rebar placement and footing dimensions. HHHS reserves the right to refuse installation if the existing footing is deemed insufficient.

Rather be safe than sorry? We can handle the complete basketball goal installation — including pouring the concrete footing with proper rebar reinforcement ourselves. With 25+ years of experience and fully insured, we make sure your goal is built right from the ground up. Contact us for a full installation quote that includes the concrete base.

A few things are outside our lane:

• Electrical — new outlets or wiring, ceiling fans, or light fixtures of any kind (no chandeliers, no hardwired sconces). Plug-in sconces are fine.

• Plumbing repairs beyond standard washer/fridge water-line connections

• Recessed/in-wall fireplace installs, and mounting on tile or marble

• ALR projector screens

• Painting, wallpapering, limewashing, murals, and flooring

• Springfree trampolines — every other brand is fine

• String lights that need anchoring into block walls

• Ground-stake privacy panels and no-dig fence panels

• Slate/felt billiards tables — we assemble rec-room style tables only; we don’t level slate

• Pool tables, hot tubs, concert grand pianos, or safes exceeding 850 lbs

❓ Not sure if your project qualifies? Text Amber a photo — she’ll tell you quickly if we can help.

Life happens — we get it! Here's how it works: when you book, we reserve your date, crew, and equipment just for you and turn away other jobs for that slot, so deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

📅Need a different day? Cancel the original appointment, then rebook with a new deposit for the time that works. Booking early provides you with more choices, so grab your new spot as soon as you are ready!

No worries — we'll always keep you in the loop! Here's how it works:

• You'll get a reminder text the day before.

• On the day, we'll send a "we're on the way" text with an ETA.

• If we can't get in (no one home, door not answered, access code doesn't work), we'll try to reach you: call and leave a voicemail, send a follow-up text, and wait up to 35 minutes for a response.

If we still can't reach you or get access, we'll have to cancel the appointment, and unfortunately the deposit will be forfeited.

It happens more than you'd think — here's how to avoid a wasted trip:

Please inspect your shipment before your appointment.

• Do you have all the boxes (e.g., Box 1 of 3, Box 2 of 3, Box 3 of 3)?

• Are the boxes damaged from shipping? 📦

• Is the contents of the box damaged or bent?

If we cannot perform the service due to damaged, bent, missing parts/boxes, or missing assembly directions, the remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment.

📞Your Next Step: Contact the Office when you have the correct parts or instructions, and share a picture before we reschedule. We provide one complimentary return visit within 30 days of your original appointment. After the 30-day window, a standard travel fee will apply.

👉**** Please Note ****: To avoid issues with delayed shipments, and to ensure an optimal experience for us all, please wait to schedule your appointment until you have the item/s we are assembling or installing in your possession.

➡️ Once we’ve finished, we’ll invite you to take a moment to review the results and make sure everything meets your expectations, confirming your complete satisfaction.

➡️ Please provide complete and accurate information before booking — including service type, scope of task/s, size, brand/model, photos, links, address, and preferred date and time. Supplying full details ensures accurate quotes, smooth scheduling, and the best possible results for your project. Please double-check your phone # and address. Incorrect contact info/being unreachable, and changes to the scope and/or tasks originally requested, puts your appointment at risk of cancellation. If service details at time of appointment differ from what was originally confirmed at time of booking, we'll need to reschedule with a new deposit (forfeiting the original deposit).

➡️ To ensure every appointment receives dedicated time and resources, we operate with a nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit policy — a standard of reliability trusted by our repeat clients and partners. Your deposit locks in your appointment (time, labor, equipment) — guaranteeing your spot on our schedule.

➡️ If the service details or scope differ from what was originally booked, the original appointment will be canceled, and a new appointment can be scheduled and a new deposit or payment will be required.

➡️ We'll Text When We're Close
You'll get a reminder the day before plus an ETA text. If no one's home/we can not gain access to start working for any reason, we'll call/text, and wait up to 35 minutes. If we still can't access the site, or start working for any reason, we'll need to reschedule with a new deposit (your original deposit is forfeited and covers travel time and labor).

📅 Plans Change? We Get It!
Life happens! Cancel and rebook with a new deposit — quick and easy. (Original deposit is nonrefundable and nontransferable)

Yes! We load and unload U-Hauls, ABF Trailers, PODS, and PACK-RATs.

Yes, haul-away service is available when confirmed in advance, for an additional fee — just ask when booking.

Yes. We take apart and rebuild IKEA furniture, beds and gym equipment for in-home moves, and for small moves of 1 to 4 pieces in our pickup truck. Big home gyms move within the same home only. Mention everything before you book so we can give you an accurate flat-rate quote. Thanks!

Some kits do, some don’t — it depends on the brand and model. If anchor spikes or hardware come in the box, we install them as part of the build. If your kit doesn’t include them, just let us know before your appointment and we can bring our own. Staking is for turf or dirt and it’s the least disruptive way to anchor — no digging, no concrete, and minimal disturbance to your landscaping. On an existing concrete slab we drill and anchor the posts instead, and we can dig and pour footers if you want the most permanent option.

Permit requirements can vary by city, property, size, placement, HOA guidelines, setbacks, and how the structure is being anchored, so we’re not able to determine whether a permit is required for your specific property.

Why we can’t answer this for you:

• Every city sets its own requirements. Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Chandler and every other Valley city have different codes.

• The answer depends on your exact property: the structure’s size and height, how close it sits to your house and property lines, easements or utility lines, and whether it’s freestanding, on footers or anchored to a slab.

• HOA approval is separate from the city. You may need one, both or neither.

• Only your city can give an official answer for your address, and permits are applied for by the property owner.

We recommend contacting your city’s Planning or Building Department before installation to confirm whether a permit or approval is needed. Have these ready when you call: the structure’s size and height (from the product listing), where it will sit on your property, and how it will be anchored. If they ask for our Certificate of Insurance, we’re happy to send it.

No. We only install gazebos and pergolas as freestanding structures, meaning they stand on their own and don’t connect to your house. We don’t attach them to your walls, stucco, roof or eaves. That keeps holes out of your home and keeps your roof untouched.

Shopping for a pergola? Choose one labeled freestanding. We don’t install kits made to attach to a house.

What we can do:

• Anchor it to your concrete patio or slab (drill-and-anchor add-on; see pricing on our gazebo & pergola page)

• Set it on grass or dirt with ground stakes

• Dig and pour concrete footers for the most permanent option

No. We install pergolas and gazebos new in the box and according to the manufacturer’s original instructions and specifications. We don’t cut posts, shorten the height, change the frame or attachment points, or install kits that have already been modified or painted (paint can seal parts together and cover the part numbers we build from). Any of these falls outside our installation scope, and we would not be able to assist with the installation.

Why: we stand behind every structure we build, and that depends on it going together exactly as the manufacturer designed it. Once a kit is cut or changed, the pre-drilled holes and connections no longer line up, and we can’t guarantee its strength or safety, especially through Arizona monsoon winds.

Before you buy: measure your space and compare it to the product’s listed height, width and footprint, including clearance under patio covers, rooflines, trees and walls. We’re not able to confirm fit from photos or product links, so double-check your measurements before you order.

In almost every case you don’t need one, and that’s good news for you — it saves you time and money. A few clear photos or a short video of the item, the space it’s going in, and any stairs or tight doorways gives us everything we need to quote you accurately, usually the same day. Text or email them over and we’ll confirm your flat rate before you book. If you’d still prefer someone to see it in person, CJ offers a 30-minute On-Site Consultation & Quote for $50, paid up front when you book. Fair warning: those slots fill several days out, so photos are almost always the faster route to a firm price. Book an on-site consultation

Already started? We’ll see if we can take it from here. Kit half-built in the garage? Instructions went missing? Your helper stopped answering the phone? Send us a look and we’ll let you know if it’s a job we can take on — no lecture, promise.

One thing: the prices listed are for new-in-box with the instructions. A job that’s already started needs its own quote, so we price it after we see it.

Text or email a photo — or a link to the product if you have one — and we’ll send you a price.

Still in the box? Book it now — coupons only work on new-in-box jobs, so the best deal is always the one you grab before you start.
